 The World's End is a very attractive traditional olde
English pub, with wooden beams and open fires. The bar is in the
centre of this spacious venue with about 200 covers inside.
Historically this old
building was originally a Coaching Inn and has been through many guises including a
nightclub, hotel and B&B! We are situated on the main A38 between Taunton
and
Wellington at a turning opposite the village. The patio area is away
from the road at the back of the pub with attractive views. You can
see the Wellington memorial from here. There is an open fire on
the patio, an unusual oval metal dish with the fire set in it.
Serving delicious food, all freshly prepared and cooked to order this is predominantly a destination dining venue
but if you just want to
pop in for a drink with friends you are more than welcome. We have
an excellent selection of real ales, draught beers and fine wines to
choose from. Both a friendly
welcoming team and a warm environment await your visit. |
