White Lion PhotoThe White Lion is situated in the smart, attractive area of Frenchay in Bristol.  The pub is set in a secluded spot with lime trees on the beautiful, extensive common to the front.  Being close to Frenchay Hospital we are a popular venue for staff and visitors from there.  Many spend their lunch breaks with us and we are happy to take orders for food beforehand by phone or fax to save precious time.  There is a good range of food which is cooked to order from a main menu and Specials board.  The bar is open plan with dining area.  Many of our regular locals have been coming here for years to enjoy a drink or meal  and one of the reasons is because we have no loud TVs or juke box.  It is therefore a good place to relax and have a conversation.  Come along soon to this trouble free, family friendly pub and experience the sociable environment and great atmosphere, first hand.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
