On
the outskirts of Taunton in a private residential area, The Shepherds
Rest is a good locals pub with a trouble free, safe and family
friendly atmosphere. Outside you will find us attractive with
hanging baskets and a good beer garden. We are popular for our good
pub food as well as the wide selection of drink served at the bar, including
a range of real ales. Sport can be enjoyed on the big screen in a
traditional and very clean environment. Finian and Carol have been
here since 2000 and built up the food trade, removing any bad
elements. We opened after a complete refurbishment at the beginning of
July 2003, now offering our customers a bright atmosphere. If you are
looking for a good sociable time look no further than the Shepherds Rest.
