The Old Station
in Hallatrow is a village pub en route to
Cheddar Gorge. Built in the 1920's it used to belong to a different
brewery and was known as the Station Hotel. Today the pub is just
across the road from the train station and inside has an olde worlde feel
with bric a brac, memorabilia and a couple of fireplaces to add to the
ambiance. All is open plan and you can walk through the pub into the
railway carriage to enjoy your meal, rather like being on the Orient
Express! This area can also be hired for private parties. Our
clientele are a good mix of local regulars and tourists, some of whom stay
in our accomodation. Come and enjoy the cosy,
friendly atmosphere of the Old Station next time you are heading for Bath.
