 The Cross Keys lies on the outskirts of Taunton
off the junction of the A358 to Minehead and the B3227 to Barnstaple
turning for Norton Fitzwarren. Also just 10 minutes from the West
Sussex Railway at Bishops Lydeard. This is an inviting looking old
establishment, although refurbished in December 2007 we have retained
our traditional look with old beams, fireplace and at night,
candles on the tables to enhance the atmosphere. We employ high
quality Chefs who have superb kitchen facilities. The food can be
chosen from a main menu or unique Specials from the chalk boards which
allow our Chefs to show their flair, which can be complimented with real
ales! You will be served meals which have been prepared from the
freshest of ingredients and cooked to order. To complement your meal there is an
extensive choice of quality wines or real ales and other drinks are available at the bar.
We are Cask Marque
accredited meaning that real ales are served in tip top condition.
For entertainment there is a monthly Jazz evening which is extremely well
attended. Come along soon to this destination food house and meet the
locals and welcoming staff. There is such a relaxed environment here that
you are sure to want to return.
