Castle Green Inn is situated opposite the Castle Hotel with easy access to Taunton High Street. Historically a former music hall, we are the sister venue of the highly acclaimed White Hart in Wiveliscombe and, just as there, we focus on attention to detail and quality customer service.  There is a fantastic ambience here and customers old and new can have a relaxing experience which is very different to anywhere else. Ladies are made very welcome, this establishment being ideal for a non-intimidating drink with friends at lunch time.  The highlight to the Castle Green Inn is the fresh Lunch bar with home baked bread, jacket potatoes and high quality salads to choose from.  Where possible the ingredients for this traditional quality food is sourced locally and we also serve a selection of quality local and guest real ales.  The bar is such a comfortable place to relax with family or friends.  Furnished and styled in a traditional yet contemporary manner there are comfortable leathers seating areas, chill out areas and areas for dining.  The stress free surroundings are aided by relaxed background music.  When the weather is warm you can walk out onto an outdoor seating area.  As part of historical Taunton, we are not on a pub circuit but offer more of a mature meeting / dining environment which attracts the over 25's clientele.  Everyone here looks forward to welcoming you soon.
