 The Steam Wagon is situated in a residential area about 15 minutes away
from the centre of Shrewsbury. It is a typical John Barras venue,
traditional to look at but bright and airy inside. The lounge and bar are
two separate areas. The bar has the big screen and when major matches are
shown people spill into the lounge where there are further TVs. This
community pub is big on Sport, showing anything folk want to watch. The
good pub food available each day can be chosen from a varied main
menu, with a great 2 for £7 offer on Monday through to Thursday on
selected items! The locals tend to come here for a quality drink from the bar, sit and watch a match or take part in the live
entertainment at the weekend. Come along soon and sample the trouble free,
female friendly venue which is the Steam Wagon Inn.
