 The Telford lies about 10 to 15 minutes drive north of
Edinburgh on the road to the Forth Bridge. The Craigleith shopping centre
is nearby along with Telford College and Weston General Hospital. We have
a great mix of clientele ranging from local shoppers, a good base of regulars,
students, doctors, nurses and tourists. This is a well maintained pub, having an open plan bar with welcoming, helpful staff who
ensure this is a comfortable, trouble free and female
friendly venue. Many people come to spend their lunch breaks with
us. Food is served from a main menu and specials board and we are
particularly busy when our food offer is in operation. We have a very
enthusiastic Sports following and show all important matches on the two big
screens. There is a successful women's football team as well as a boys team
who meet at the weekend. Next time you are in the vicinity, pop in and feel
the atmosphere in person. Meet the team and maybe you'll
choose the karaoke or golden oldie night for your debut!
