OUR HISTORY
High House Farm Brewery is a micro-brewery (founded in 2003) on a 200
acre working farm in Grade 2 listed buildings, only half a mile from
Hadrian’s Wall. In July this year, we are opening a visitor centre
incorporating a shop, café, function room, interpretation room and
licensed bar. We carry out regular brewery tours for small and large
groups.
OUR BEERS
Our
brewery produces high quality single hopped real ale, made from our own
finest farm grown malt, Northumbrian water and English hops. We
currently have five varieties, all named after our farm animals, that
are fantastic quality, full of flavour, easy to handle and have won SIBA
and CAMRA regional and national awards.
Sundancer – 3.6% ABV
Auld Hemp – 3.8% ABV
Nel’s Best – 4.2% ABV
Black Moss – 4.3% ABV
Matfen Magic – 4.8% ABV
Our cask and bottled ales are sold in over 200 outlets through the North
East, Borders, Cumbria and North Yorkshire.
