Royal Standard, Headington On the corner of London Road and New High Street in Headington, just down the road from Oxford Brookes University, you will come across the Royal Standard. You can't miss us, being beside the famous Shark. In the middle of a small shopping area, this is a very attractive, traditional brick pub. Catering for hospital staff, students and regular locals, we offer a superb range of drinks, including Greene King real ales and provide high quality meals popular with families at the weekend. Our food is available every day and meals can be chosen from our own extensive menu. Built in the early 1900's the Royal Standard has a single bar, open fires, slate and wooden flooring.
