REFURBISHMENT |
We re-opened in
July 2009 following a refurbishment and now have bright, modern, neutral
decor with separate areas for dining or sports. The patio and beer
garden has had a complete makeover - the new furniture and covered
smoking area with heating and seating make it much more inviting. |

 Situated
in the largest village in Europe, The
Red Lion is the
best bar around and very well known locally. Situated on the main
road to Oxford, opposite the large Audi dealership and near the public
library, we are easily accessible. Everyone will receive a warm welcome
in this excellent community pub which has a good lively atmosphere.
We are a great venue and welcome newcomers and passers by.
You don't need to go elsewhere for sport, as with masses of TVs along
with 3 big screens, and with three Sky boxes you can now watch more than
one game at the same time, making us the ideal place to come and enjoy a
pint whilst watching the big game. We are split into sections,
each catering for a different clientele. The sports bar is an
excellent place to have a game of pool with friends whilst the quiet
area is best suited for customers who just want to relax with a pint and
meal. For dining there are a fantastic range of dishes with some
great food offers make us a good choice for your lunch break or evening meal. Why not join us at
