This long established pub has been serving the public since 1261.  The Mitre is a listed building in the city centre.  Refurbished in May 2007, the bar still has a traditional look but with a much lighter and fresher feel.  We have  a 150 seater, air conditioned restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious meal and a good quality drink.  The pub is on 3 levels with lots of nooks and crannies which allow our customers to have some privacy if they wish.  With this Beefeater being so popular booking for meals is well advised to avoid a long wait.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
