Hungry HorseThe Lord Nelson is a family friendly pub which welcomes locals, visitors and passers by, fully refurbished in Spring 2011.  We are on the main Wantage to Oxford road just off the A34.  Being on a walkers route, known as The Ridgeway, we are always a popular choice for ramblers to drop in.  Quality, value for money food is on offer from an extensive Hungry Horse menu and on Sundays we have an excellent roast.  With a wide selection of drinks to accompany your meal and a range of speciality coffees to finish off, this is a great choice.  To cater for non diners we have a sports bar with TV screens so you can watch the match in a friendly atmosphere.  Alternatively you can have a quiet drink and a game of darts.  We also have a large beer garden for al fresco dining during the warmer weather.  The Lord Nelson always offers excellent service and our staff and regulars looking forward to seeing you soon.
