 The
College Oak is a small, but lively, pub located
on the
Peachcroft Estate in Abingdon. We were
refurbished in Autumn 2011 giving us a fresh look with the wood being taken
down, new carpet and new bar top. Eddie Cavanagh and his wife, Carol,
took over the
running of the pub, having been the landlord and lady
of the Bowyer Arms in Radley for over 17 years!
Inside there is a warm red colour scheme and the pub
has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. We are
visited by local people from the
immediate locality but we also attract customers
from other areas who come for its Sport facilities.
Although the focus is firmly on sport, we also
serve a great value menu, able to satisfy the biggest
of appetites! Come along and see us soon, you
won't be disappointed. |
