The village pub of Wootton, Bystander is a large olde worlde listed building. We are part of the Hungry Horse estate offering the best food, drink and service in the area. Like all Hungry Horses we serve food from an extensive menu with plenty of choice for the whole family. We are renowned for the food we offer with customers travelling large distances just to dine here! As well as the 120 seater restaurant there is a bar area and lounge. We offer a wide range of entertainment from intimate bar games with friends, to quiz nights. Our lounge has 15 tables with plenty of comfortable seating so that customers can relax with a pint and talk to friends. The whole pub is themed on the locality with local history items on show, much of which are displayed in the area leading to our lovely refurbished large garden. Games are also available in the garden for the more active, such as an Aunt Sally and crazy golf, and a play area with climbing frame and slide, children and adults alike will not be bored. An ideal venue in the summer or winter, come alone or with friends and family for an excellent meal or just a drink anytime.
