Situated
by the Bridge
on the bank of the Thames,
as you come into Wallingford, The Boathouse
has its whole frontage overlooking the river.
Built in the 1800’s as a boathouse it is now an open plan pub
with a restaurant, a watch sport’s area and play sport's area as well
as of course the bar with comfortable seating.
We are very popular because of our location and the good quality
pub food served every day a good menu.
As well as families who come for our food, we attract the young
in the evenings with an excellent range of drinks. Sport now is
another major feature of the Boathouse with sport watching and playing
area and pay per view matches shown on multiscreens.
Visit us on a Friday & Saturday night to be entertained by a DJ.
As we are alongside the Thames
we have a very pleasant river terrace where you can
relax with friends. We are
also close to river trip facilities.
