 Situated
in Wantage town centre this building dates back to 1726. The Blue Boar
has been recently refurbished and now has
a contemporary, open plan style. The name of the pub is believed to
have come from the fact that the lady who first used this as a
licensed premises ran the local pig market. We are a popular venue
for sports, having all the major channels, where you can watch a big game on
the two plasma screens. This is an ideal pub to bring friends
for a drink whilst watching a match. Food is served from a main menu every day until
early evening with a pizza menu after that. This attracts many people who are taking their much
needed lunch break or moment away from the shopping. Our fully stocked bar offers you a great choice of lagers and
beers as well as a good range of wines, shooters and cocktails. Great entertainment is close
at hand,
just come down to the Blue Boar which hosts DJ led over the weekend. On these nights we are open very late so there is
no need to move on. We are popular with a mixture of people, mainly
over 25's, who like a lively atmosphere. If you want something similar
