Angel & GreyhoundThe Angel And Greyhound is located about a ten minute walk from Oxford City Centre.  Once known as the Oranges and Lemons the pub is historically quite famous for live rock music with bands such as the Sex Pistols, the Clash and many others playing here.  Inside the bar area is quite small with just thirteen tables, a traditional drinking pub with wooden floor, seating and two real fires.  There are patio areas to the front and the back of the pub and these are very popular in the summer time.  Half the area is covered and heated to cater for smokers.  We are popular with locals and students alike and offer friendly service and a good range of real ales.  Freshly cooked food is available daily with a traditional roast dinner served on a Sunday.  With Bar Billiards and countless board games available why not call in and have your next pint with us.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
