Wheatsheaf Hotel PhotoOn the very fringe of Chatsworth House estate, this traditional English Inn provides excellent bed and breakfast accommodation in beautifully furnished rooms, ideal for family parties intent on exploring the possibilities of the delightful Peak District National Park.  Family accommodation is enhanced by an extensive children's play area adjoining the hostelry.  An appetizing range of home-cooked dishes are available, meals being served in the friendly surroundings of the lounge bar.  There is a straightforward menu featuring tried and tested favorites (for children as well!) and prices are most reasonable.  Knowledgeable ale drinkers will be in their element here, for the hotel is run by the Marston's Brewery, a recommendation in itself!  From M1 junction 29 take road to Chesterfield A619 following brown signs for Chatsworth House.
