On the very fringe of Chatsworth House estate, this traditional English
Inn provides excellent bed and breakfast accommodation in beautifully furnished
rooms, ideal for family parties intent on exploring the possibilities of the
delightful Peak District National Park. Family accommodation is enhanced by an
extensive children's play area adjoining the hostelry. An appetizing range
of home-cooked dishes are available, meals being served in the friendly surroundings
of the lounge bar. There is a straightforward menu featuring tried and tested
favorites (for children as well!) and prices are most reasonable. Knowledgeable
ale drinkers will be in their element here, for the hotel is run by the
Marston's Brewery, a recommendation in itself!
