On the corner of Fore Street and Eagle Street. Head out of the town centre along Orwell place towards the college. The Spread Eagle is situated just off the town centre circuit.

The Spread Eagle is one of Ipswich's oldest inns.  It is filled with stained glass windows and is heavily timbered both inside and out.  It is in an ideal position for students being five minutes' walk at most from the college.  The pool table is in a separate room enabling a quiet game of pool if you wish.  The Spread Eagle is a proper old-fashioned public house.
