Fox Inn Photo The Fox Inn is an un-spoilt country pub with charm and atmosphere. A very pretty 16th century thatched pub set in the heart of rural West Dorset, painted cream, and rose clad in summer. There is a garden beside the stream across the lane, where you can enjoy a drink or lunch under the trees on a warm summer's day. The pub is cosy and intimate with stone floors, beams, inglenook fireplaces, slate-topped bars, beautifully polished copper, stuffed birds and animals in display cases and a great selection of prints and oils. Blue and white gingham curtains and table cloths. A flower filled conservatory with one huge oak table seats up to 18 people. Our own country kitchen-dining room seats up to 30 people and is full of character. Both these latter rooms lend themselves very well for private parties.

Directions - Off A356 Crewkerne- Dorchester road turning at sign to Corscombe/Halstock. Off A37 Yeovil to Dorchester road turning 1 1/2 miles out of Yeovil at signs to Halstock/Corscombe.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
