The Wheatsheaf is a traditional pub dating back to 1625.  With coal fires are in each of the 3 bars and an extensive wine list.  We won 'National Wine Pub of the Year' in 1989.  7 cask ales are always on offer and we received the National Cask Marque award in 1999.  We were also voted 'CAMRA Area Pub of the Year' 1999.  Our annual Beer n Bangers festival, always commences Monday prior to the late spring bank holiday for 2 weeks and we have over 30 different beers through the festival and approximately 13 different sausages available with mash & onion gravy.
