 The Ship Inn has been a pub since 1838, this beachside hostelry commands
stunning views over Elie bay. Listed in the Good Pub Guide and Egon Ronay among
many others. The Ship features a BBQ in its beer garden beside the sea.
At low
tide in summer, the pub's cricket team play their matches on the sand. This is an
ideal location for both families and golfing parties alike, many of whom stay
over in our rooms which go under the guise of Rockview Guest House. The Ship Inn
was recently nominated as a Freehouse of the year in Britain finalist at the Publican
Awards and won Promotion of the year in Scotland (runner up in Britain)
with an International Jazz Festival.
