The Rose & Crown dates back to 1727. It has altered little on the
outside and although the interior has been refurbished it remains an old worldy
pub serving traditional beers and good food. Tucked away in the village of
Hartwell, Northamptonshire which is situated nearby Slacey Forest. The forest covers
1250 acres and is a haven for wildlife and delightful walks.
