 Located on the A54, 6 miles from Buxton and 10
miles from Congleton, The Rose and Crown is a stone built pub with some
parts over 200 years old. Situated in a very picturesque
part of the Peak District, with stunning views over the
Dane Valley and Wildboarclough. The pub is very popular
with walkers and provides a service to the local tourism
industry. Bed and breakfast is also catered for and there
is a large restaurant. The accommodation is en-suite and
each room has remote control colour TV with text and tea
and coffee making facilities. There are many well
documented walks in the area and the pub is well placed
for touring in the north west.
