English Ale Festival in celebration of St George.
Come and take part in our new English Ale Festival, running
until the 28th May. As well as a number of English cask ales you
can request us to source locally brewed beers! In addition to
superb beers we have launched a newsletter with lots of helpful
information. You can also take part in our collector scheme,
whereby if you purchase 9 festival bitters you will be entered
into a free prize draw to win a limited edition glass tankard
engraved with the Festival logo. |

The Red Lion is a quality pub restaurant and hotel, conveniently situated
on the outskirts of Portsmouth, that offers a great deal of charm and excellent
value. We are within easy reach of the channel ferries and just three miles west from
the bottom of the A3(M) and just north of M27 (Hilsea). The pub is an ideal base for
visiting the wealth of maritime heritage such as the Mary Rose, HMS Victory and
HMS Warier on the south coast. The sea air gives our visitors an appetite
- so you'll appreciate our two for one menu offering a range of quality, value for
money meals, which can be enjoyed in a relaxed environment. To cater for
