 Between Luton and Bedford, just off the A6 trunk road. From the roundabout
which forms in of A6 with A507(Amptill to Henlow Road) take the A6 towards Luton
- first right slip road signposted SILSOE, the pub is the first building in the
village. The Lord Nelson is a traditional ale-house with two bars. The larger housing
a pool table, a one-arm bandit and some friendly natives. The pub hopes to have
a publicly available internet terminal very soon. Other concessions to the 20th
- 21st
century include : well, not a lot really. We have electricity and central
heating............(sometimes) . The beer is priced competitively, and is as
good as our ego’s permit us to state.
