Horse and Groom PhotoIn a property which dates back to 1650 the Horse & Groom is beautifully situated in rural village & garden offering stunning view across a lake.  Mike and Sue Chappell bought the Freehold to the pub in 1998 and in 2007 Fiona - Sue's Sister took over the reins.  Food served is freshly prepared on the premises and features many seasonal fish dishes and our world famous signature dish of half shoulder of slowly roasted lamb with herb crust.  It is always advisable to book.  For further information on the Horse & Groom and to view a sample menu, visit our own website via the above link.  Rushlake Green lies 3 - 4 miles South East of Heathfield.  Take the Battle Road from Heathfield and turn right for Rushlake Green. The pub is situated to the right of the village green.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
