 Since
moving from London in early 2004 and joining the community at Haconby,
trained chefs Amir & Tanya have made many changes for the better at The Hare & Hounds.
With alot of re-designing and refurbishment from the outset,
ongoing improvements are still being made here, but this will not in any
way affect your enjoyment at The Hare & Hounds. The pub has been
updated and is now clutter free with fresh cream walls and dark wooden,
Victorian style furniture which has been carefully chosen by Tanya &
Amir. You can enjoy just a drink in the bar area, as many locals
still do and real ales are kept to a choice of two, so they can be
prepared and served to the same high standard every time. The two dining areas with 40 covers, have the feel of a restaurant
more than pub, and excellent food is offered by the Amir, Tanya & the
team. All food is freshly prepared from locally sourced ingredients,
and every dish is made from scratch with the same attention to detail,
whether it's our own soup stock, bread or delicious pastries and
desserts. Everyone is welcomed here and young families happily
co-exist with regulars and visitors alike. To find us turn right off
the A15, we are
