The George
Hotel is
Hayfield's oldest Hotel and is still offering residential accommodation.
The 'Clubroom' has recently been refurbished making it an ideal venue for
Functions, Seminars and Conferences. The George is approximately 16 miles
from Manchester International Airport and within minutes of open country at the
foot of Kinder Scout, making it an excellent base to explorer this historic and
picturesque part of the world. From the A6
Buxton to Stockport road take either the New Mills or Chapel-En-Le-Frith, turn
off. We are approx 4miles south of Glossop
on the A624 and our car park backs onto the A624. OR From M60 east bound (was the M66
& M63) turn off on to the M67 to its end at Mottram, head for
Glossop just after passing under a very high Railway Bridge fork right at
the second mini roundabout, in front of the Junction Inn, the next 'T'
junction take a right onto the A624. Turn off the A624 into the Village of
Hayfield we are on the left a few yards from the Parish Church.
