signposted off A20 between Lenham and Charing.

 The George Inn
is a traditional 16th century freehouse with beams and real fires
comprising public/games bar, saloon bar and separate restaurant, beer garden and
car park. Set in the heart of "Darling Buds Of May" country with
magnificent views overlooking the Weald of Kent and on the edge of the North
Downs. We are a traditionally run country pub with real ales
on offer and an
unrivalled range of bottled beers wines and soft drinks. All the food is prepared
and cooked by our team of chefs using as much local produce as possible. We have Sky TV
and show pay per view matches in the games bar and a barbecue area has been installed in the beer garden,
where we hold BBQ's every bank holiday Monday. A newly installed outdoor
play area for the children is situated in the large garden, so you can relax
while the younger ones use up some energy. The George Inn is very
popular with the residents of both Egerton and the surrounding villages, and
with the many ramblers who pass our door whilst walking the Greensand Way and
