On the A465 Heads of the Valley
Road, head south at
Tredegar roundabout. Stay on the town by-pass until the 4th
roundabout. Turn left and head for the Peacehaven Estate,
carry on through to Troedrhiwgwair and turn right as you
enter the village. |

The Fountain Inn is a 16th century traditional
Welsh pub, unspoilt by modern progress. Step back in time
and enjoy a typical Welsh hospitality in a relaxed
atmosphere and watch the world go by. Suitable for
families and ideally situated for walking, cycling and
exploring the Welsh countryside. Known affectionately as
"The Farm" by the locals, because of its 400
year farming tradition that ceased in the 1970s.
