 The Fountain Inn is situated in Mevagissey, which is five miles from St. Austell 2
miles from Heligan Gardens and six mile from the Eden Project. It is a 15th century inn, with low beams, slate floors, two
bars, restaurant and three letting rooms, two en suite one with a four
poster bed. In the smugglers bar, you can see where pilchards used to pressed
and their oil stored. The Pilchard was the fish that the village of Mevagissey
was centered around.
