 The Fountain Inn
is in the heart of Thomas Hardy country. Attractions
include Gold Hill and stunning views of the vale from Park Walk in Shaftesbury
town. Sleep, eat, drink and shop in Shaftesbury - but first of all visit us and
catch up on all the ‘news and views’ as the walls in The Fountain are
covered in newspaper cuttings. Over the bar are six satellite TV screens (+
others elsewhere in the bar), a state-of-the art jukebox, an upside down pool
table complete with pool balls is attached to the ceiling - are we mad ......
