uk pubsThe Farmers Arms is a medium sized local community pub with customers from 18 - 90years and refurbished several years ago with a traditional old style look.  The bar is visited by many who enjoy the traditional ales that are kept in tip top condition by John the landlord who has been awarded the Cask Marque.  The pub is also in the Good Beer Guide.  The lounge is also in keeping with the bar with the added comfort of upholstered seating and carpeting the walls are adorned with photos of the old Rhymney brewery that the pub was sited next to.  The dining area is small but well used.  We offer a variety of home cooked foods in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.  Sunday lunch is very popular and therefore booking is advised but not essential.  There is also a function room available for hire for up to 40 persons. It is tastefully decorated and has its own entrance, bar and toilet facilities.
