The Black Horse is situated in an area of outstanding beauty on pilgrims way in the middle of north downs.  With beautiful gardens housing a large pond area, low beams, hops & wooden floors.  The pub dates back to the 16th century, first used as a pub in 1725.  Excellent quality food is prepared on the premises by chefs.  There is a large dining terrace and restaurant which seats 60 people.  The bar has seats for 30 people for snacks.  You will be greeted by friendly bar staff, and we are frequented by walkers cyclists & locals.
