Take the A12 from Colchester and after about 4 miles
turn off to Stratford St Mary. We are the first pub on
the right past Le Talbooth Restaurant.

 The Black Horse Inn is a family pub and all ages
are welcome. There are camping and caravan facilities and
coaches are welcome by appointment. Also by appointment
we can provide coffee, tea & scones for parties of those on
half way stops. We are located on the Constable walks and
ramblers are welcome and often book for meals on their
return leaving their cars on the meadow. We also offer
outside BBQs in the summer and can provide a special children's menu.
