The Black Horse Inn, dating from the 1690's, is set in the Derbyshire Dales
on the edge of the peak district. Close to Carsington Water, it is an ideal
centre for visiting the many attractions in the area, including Alton towers,
Chatsworth and Dovedale. It is a true free house run by owners Michael and
Muriel Edwin, who will be pleased to help you with any enquires. The lounge bar,
with seating for 60 is available for meetings, talks, parties etc. In the 'old'
bar area dominoes, darts and bar billiards are played. The ever changing guest
beers are obtained from all over the country. There is a good sized beer garden
for when the sun shines.
