The Rising Sun Inn is a friendly community/town pub. There is a relaxed
informal atmosphere. Lunchtimes is mainly food, evenings more traditional pub
though food is still available. In a very pleasant setting in town with attractive pub garden and patio area
alongside a small river. Winners of Wimborne in bloom floral competition on many
occasions. Good steady trade throughout year and particularly popular in tourist
season, friendly helpful & welcoming staff. Good selection of varied dishes
on daily specials board and menu suitable for all ages - All welcome- even dogs.
The pub is a listed building with attractive interior features including a beautiful
Aga stove. Situated on one way system into Wimborne town centre approaching from A31
from Ringwood direction, immediately around the corner from cricket ground.
