7miles west of Launceston on the A30, turn off at sign fro Altarnun continue on this rd for 1 mile towards Camelford. The Inn is in view 400 yds after the T junction.  The Rising Sun Inn is a 16th century inn situated on an unclassified road leading to Camelford, and with our nearest neighbours some 800 yds away it makes a pleasant retreat from modern urban life. Built originally as a farmhouse, it is a single bar inn with an adjoining dining room and has all the usual features of a country pub: dart board, pool table and of course conversation.  We offer a full range of real ales which are constantly changing and are delivered from all parts of the country, and a comprehensive menu of mainly home cooked food ranging from burgers through to lasagne, fish dishes and meat pies. Vegetarians are catered fro with a choice of items from both the general menu and the daily specials board.
