The Old Inn is situated in the centre of the village of Holton, which is 2 miles west of Wincanton and just south of the A303 trunk road, from which it is signposted.

The Old Inn is a four hundred year old traditional coaching inn and is know to have been trading under this name in 1630 and is probably a lot older than that.  A member of Les Routiers we are also Egon Ronay recommended.  The bar serves real beers, traditional ciders, home cooked meals and snacks.  The original flagstone floor, beams and fireplace add to the convivial atmosphere.  The restaurant seats up to 20 in comfortable centuries old surroundings.
