 The Horse & Jockey is a 15th century thatched pub, in the hamlet of
Llanvihangel, offering traditional and modern fayre. In the 17th century the pub
was used as a vicarage and is also known locally as the jockey or the jockey
pitch. The pub is is also haunted by a ghost fondly known as Martha.
We are situated only 300 yards from the Brecknock & Abergavenny canal and bridge 55.
There is a good beer garden & purpose built children's play area. We
are approximately 9 miles from Newport & M4 and 10 minutes from Abergavenny.
