The Golden Lion is a very old public house parts of which are listed.
In the
early days the pub was a school. The function room we believe was the classroom
& the pub is haunted but peaceful. No plates flying here unless wife has a
divy in kitchen !! We are situated on the Morda (Welshpool) road out of Oswestry - 100yds from Main traffic lights.
