The Eagle Coaching Inn is a small, friendly family run public house with accommodation in Broughty Ferry, Dundee - an affluent tourist seaside location perfect for a holiday or short break. The two sisters who run it have lovingly brought it back to life since they took it over Christmas 2012. Now you will find our staff in uniforms, ladies enjoying a glass of wine and a chat, couples enjoying a drink and tourists enjoying the seaside ambience. Built in the 17th Century the exterior has not changed since then. However the care and attention inside has brought the character back to The Eagle Coaching Inn and it's full of it. We are more than happy to see our loyal regulars plus an abundance of tourists either staying in one of our en-suite bedrooms or joining us for a quality drink. Instead of being accommodated in impersonal hotels, usually on the periphery of the city, why not come to the centre of Broughty Ferry where you can find that personal service and care where we make sure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. We offer a great range on quality branded draught products as well as a wide range of bottled beers. Our fish bowl cocktails go down a treat! We are set on one of two busy streets which run parallel to each other and they are a hive of activity. The streets are lined with mostly independently run shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. A lovely place to stroll through and maybe take home some souvenirs. Make sure you take a stop at the Eagle Coaching Inn though for a refreshing drink and take the wait off your feet either inside or outside on our 'pavement cafe'. Our 'pavement cafe' has to be one of the sunniest spots in Broughton Ferry with us getting the sun from when it rises to when it sets. It's a very popular spot given it's only a couple of minutes walk to the beach. We are only a short car journey to the hills and some of the best golf courses in Dundee. It is extremely popular with all types of tourists, golf and business travellers. We like to look after people at The Eagle Inn offering a warm welcome and good value for money. Come and see us soon.
