Crown PhotoTake the A4155 from Reading towards Henley on Thames. At the first roundabout after leaving Reading take 1st exit (sharp left). We are then the 2nd pub on the left, about 400yds from the roundabout.  The Crown Inn is a large rambling 17th-18th century pub with a thatched barn and a conservatory.  It is often very busy and booking is  advised if you need to reserve one of the 180 seats available.  We are already well known in the area for our good food and also keep a selection of W H Brakspear's real ales and have been mentioned in several good pub guides. We provide a relaxed and informal meals and drinks service. Our conservatory looks out on to a large secluded garden with fishpond and rockery. The conservatory is non-smoking area as is the "Tap Room" which has a log fire. The newly completed conversion of our 18th century thatched barn gives us a further to seat up 60 people. This is also non-smoking. There is a main bar area and eating area. We also have a large convenient car park.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
