The
Cricketers Arms is an old small market town public house with low beamed
ceilings and walls covered in cricketing history. During the week it is a
comfortable, quiet pub with a friendly atmosphere, perfect for a quiet drink.
Real ales are a strong seller, and there are normally at least four ales on sale
ranging from local Ringwood brews to a weekly guest ale. At weekends Wimborne
comes alive, and the Cricketer's has a lively evening disco. Major events are
always shown here with two big screens, plus a third for really big games, so
you can't miss that vital goal or try! Just outside Wimborne's historic square. Follow the one way system round the
cricket ground. Park Lane runs next to the river and the pub overlooks the
cricket ground, next to Tappers car park.
