Albion Inn is Chester's last unspoilt 3 room Victorian corner pub complete
with open real fire in cast iron and tile fire place - William Morris wallpaper
and cast iron and machine base tables. The pub is completely dedicated to the Great War
1914 - 18. With pictures and
artifacts appertaining to that period abounding Also many other interesting
period pieces such as enamel signs & illuminated petrol pump tops. There is
a large selection of malt whiskies and choice of 4 real ales available. Family
hostile and zero tolerance of lager louts - frequent visits by dwindling first
world war veteran groups. Very much a Grown ups pub (no children) but well behaved
dogs are allowed. A city centre corner pub facing the city walls between the Newgate and River Dee.
Vehicle access from lower Bridge Street turning left to enter Duke Street.
