 The Traveller’s Rest dates from the middle
of the 17th Century. This is a
quaint, rural pub within a stones throw of the Town Centre of Harrogate. The interior boasts old wooden
beams, a stoned floor area and also a light airy conservatory leading to the garden area.
There is ample seating, most of which overlooks a small lake area, with ducks
and
swans. The enviable position of the Traveller’s Rest is what makes it a very
special destination, for a lovely bar meal or just a relaxing drink of
traditional beer or
a glass of wine. This is one of only two pubs on the famous "Ringway
Walk" around Harrogate which runs along the private lane where the Traveller’s Rest is
situated. Come along and visit this friendly, welcoming pub soon. |
