 Situated on a main road in
the suburbs of Middlesbrough, the Southern Cross
was completely refurbished in 2005. This large
pub has a youthful downstairs sports bar with 4 plasma screens and is where
the pool tables etc can be found. Upstairs has been brightened up
since the refurbishment, and is a great place to enjoy some food
from the new Two for One menu. The Two for One deal lets you simply
order two adult main meals to get the cheapest one free. It is
very much a female
friendly, trouble free community atmosphere. We are popular for
lunchtime and early evening food with custom from the local schools and
passers by who pop in to relax with colleagues over a drink. There
are weekly quizzes and live music held monthly so we have something to suit
everyone here, even the ability to lay on a function in an area of the
