 Dating
back to the 13th Century, the Red Lion
is said to be the oldest pub in Skipton. Although the pub has gone
through many changes during the years, it has lost none of its charm and
still boasts some of it's original features. The pub provides a
great controlled atmosphere for your relaxation and enjoyment. We are
famous for our distinctive and fast service food bar and provide the
fastest service in town to dispense the drinks of your choice. In addition to our
varied menu we provide tea, coffee and homemade specials every
day.
We are the best venue in
town for watching sport with major sporting events shown on Big and plasma
screens. Come and test the atmosphere for
yourself. We have the market on our doorstep Monday, Wednesday, Friday
and Saturday with some of Yorkshire's finest shops within a few minutes
walk. Visit our neighbour, Skipton Castle, the only Norman Castle in
England with a roof on. Whatever else you do call
